chapter 4

"MAXWELL!!!!" WuFei screamed as he stormed out the break room door. leaving behind a large group of startled kids, not to mention a very unhappy Sally.

Duo looked up and saw the red faced Chinese man stomping towards him.
Duo put his hands up and backed away from the on coming man.

"Wu Fei... I didn't... gaack!" Was all he got to say before WuFei's hands closed around his neck.

Wu Fei’s fingers gripped Duo's neck as he pushed him toward the wall of the hall.

"WU FEI!" Hilde yelled frantically, trying to get between the two of them.

Duo gasped as he tried to pry Wu Fei's ever tightening fingers from his neck. "Didn't..." *gasp*

Hilde grasped his arms and pulled." WUUUUU FEEEI!" She screamed.

Everyone came out into the hall at Hilde's scream. The kids stood wide eyed, some had their mouths open, others keep eating cookies, enjoying the show.

They stood in utter silence and watched the scene.

Some shrugged, smirking that Maxwell was finally getting what he deserved. Some wanted to jump in and help, but Sally stopped them.

"I'll take care of this." She told them as she walked over to the extremely angry WuFei. She tapped him on the shoulder and whispered in his ear, "I did it."
WuFei dropped the gasping Duo and turned to Sally. "YOU!"
She grinned and tapped her chest. "Me!"
"ONNA!" He shouted as she slipped by him and knelt down by Duo.
She examined Duo's neck as he coughed and drug in deeps breaths. He looked at her with watery eyes and opened his mouth.

"No talking. Your throat is going to very sore."
Hilde looked at Sally and smiled slightly. "I'll keep him from talking , Sally. I know the perfect way to keep his mouth occupied."
Sally Smirked , then looked at Duo again.
Hilde looked up at Wu Fei. He had his arms crossed and was seething inside. Hilde got to her feet and launched herself at him, fists balled up. He ignored her until she punched him in the stomach.

"You should look before you leap and NOT ACCUSE SOMEONE OF STUFF THEY DIDN’T DO!"

She stepped back as WuFei crumpled forward and gasped. Sally laughed out loud as he glared at her and Hilde, as he gripped his stomach.

Hilde turned and marched back to Duo.

Duo looked up at her and Whispered. "Cool!"

Hilde put her finger to his lips and said "Shhhh."

He grabbed it and pulled away. "Remind me NEVER to play any jokes on him!"
"Duo! Stop talking!"
"Make me!" He whispered as she grinned at him and pressed her lips to his.

Everyone let out a collected groan and turned to Sally and WuFei.

He stared at Her. "Why!?" He asked, anger and hurt lacing his voice.

She turned away and looked at him over her shoulder.

"Because WuFei, It was a good picture! You are so damn hot in that picture. I wanted to share it with everyone. I know some of the ladies have crushes on you and some of guys think you are quite hot also."
She shot a glance to Quatre who blushed deep red. Trowa looked over at his lover ,confused.

"Quatre? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, Trowa." He said, leading Trowa away from the crowd. He muttered under his breath as he looked back at Sally. "I'll get you for that, Sally."

Sally looked back at Hilde who was helping Duo to the break room.

I didn't mean any harm, WuFei. It was a joke. You need to lighten up!" She said as she smacked his arm.

He glared at her and turned away. He stalked down the hallway, his face burning.

Lady Une sat back and looked at the man who had caused so much agony. She crossed her arms and listened to his spiel.

"OK, If I give my permission, what's in it for me?"
"Un.....well, you'll get coverage across the universe."
She looked at him and said." And?"
Treize sat back and sighed. He threw his arms in the air and said, exasperated. "OK! OK! You'll get half the profits from a Preventer Calendar!"
She smiled at him and said. "Good. When can you get started?"

He slumped in his chair , "Tomorrow?"
She eyed him and raised an eyebrow," How 'bout next week? And are you busy tonight?"
"What?"

"Are you busy tonight?"

"No."
"Good! Pick me up here at 7." She stood up and walked to the door. She opened it and followed him out. As the door closed she heard WuFei scream. She put her hand to her forehead and walked to the sound.

As She rounded the corner, she saw Sally leaning over Duo, Hilde punching WuFei in the stomach and the crowd dissipating. Lady Une shook her head. Duo and Hilde were always in something. She watched the sernario play out in front of her. She watched as Duo and Hilde made their way to the break room, Quatre turn deep red and lead Trowa away., and WuFei storm away from Sally. She saw Sally shrug her shoulders and watch WuFei go.
Une walked up to Sally.

"What did you do ,Sally?"

She looked at Une, "Come on, I'll show you."

She lead Une and Treize into the break room and pointed to the back of the door. Une's mouth dropped open.
"OH MY GOD! SALLY!"

Sally hung her head, And looked at the floor. "I’m sorry, Une. I couldn't help my self. He was just so damn hot!"
Une burst into giggles. "Well, Sally I have to admit you are right, but we can't leave it up there for very long. Take it down tomorrow, all right?"
Sally nodded. Treize looked at the picture and an Idea came to him. Perhaps he could get this picture in the calendar. Une turned to him and said, "Don't even think it, mister."
Treize stepped back and asked, surprised, "What?"

Two months , later:


Hilde flipped open the calendar. She looked at the pictures and grinned as Duo came over and sat beside her. He handed her a beer and looked at the picture she had the calendar open to.

"Hm...What a cute couple they are," He said, leaning over to nuzzle her neck. She leaned back and allowed him more access to it.

"Yes, they are." She sighed as she flipped the page and looked at WuFei.

"Are Sally and him talking Yet?" She asked as she leaned back into Duo.

"Yeah, you could say that! I caught them in Her office the other day and well, you know....."
"About time."

"Yeah," Duo sighed , softly in her ear as he kissed it on his way to her neck.

She sighed, then asked one more question, causing Duo to jerk back with a start. "What about Lady Une and the Treize guy?"
"Well, they are dating."
"You mean we'll probably see more of these calendars?"
"Mm hm."
Hilde turned to face Duo, "And we stop the crazy bastard, can we?"
"Nope, At least not till stops dating Une." He paused, "And I don't look for that in a while. Une likes this 'bastard', So we're stuck with him"
Hilde leaned in and Kissed Duo on the lips, "Well, I guess we'll just have to wait until we can get..."
"Naw, Hilde. I think Une and Treize are gonna be an Item and soon."
"Damn! I was sure looking forward to some fun..."
"How 'bout some fun with me?" He asked as he pushed her down on the couch and laid on top of her, capturing her lips with his.

She wrapped her arms around him and giggled," Any time Duo Maxwell... Any time.
