"Duo! Duo! Are you OK?"
Duo continued to stare at Sally , then disconnected.

Sally looked at Wu Fei. "Dammit, WuFei ! What did you say?"

Hilde could hear Wu Fei shouting at Duo. She shook her head. She wondered what he had done this time to piss off Wu Fei. She had to talk to Duo, Treize and Van. Who did she talk to first? She looked at her watch. It was only 4 o’clock! What a long day it had been and it could prove to be even longer. Hilde made two sandwiches and put them in the frig. She wrote a note for Duo , slipped to her room, rummaged through her closet until she found her 9mm. She held it up and twirled it on her finger. She would be the goddess of Death one of these days , but right now she was the handmaiden of Death. And those two will find out what it would be like to cross her. She grinned ferrelly.

She stuck the gun in the small of her back and into her waist band. She then quietly left the house.

Duo looked at the now blank screen. He looked up at the ceiling. He would tell Hilde tonight. He glared at the vidphone as he stood up. It was like he was daring it to ring. He made it out of the room and into the kitchen. The house was silent. He looked around for Hilde but couldn't find her. He sighed and walked by the table. He saw a white piece of paper with his name on it. He picked it up and read it.

Duo,

had to run and do a couple things, be back shortly. sandwiches in the frig for you.

He grinned. She always took care of him.. maybe she did love him. He set his jaw. No more Mr chicken ! He would find out tonight. He reached into the frig and pulled out the sandwiches. He flipped up the bread, ham , salami and cheese. His favorite! He walked into the living room and plopped down on the couch. He sighed as he leaned back and started to eat. As he got comfortable the front bell rang. Cursing, Duo got up and answered it. It was UPS guy.

"Hilde Schbecker live here?"
Duo nodded.

"Sign here."
Duo sighed and several small packages were deposited in his hands. He looked at them. He dumped them all on the kitchen table and looked at each one. He didn't think she had ordered anything lately. She always told him when she did.

Then it dawned on him what they were. Gifts from admirers! .

Hilde walked up to the studio door and was about to push into it, when she saw the note.

Closed till further notice

Hilde kicked the door with her foot. and yelled. "Damnit!" She clenched her fists! Did they think they could hide from her? She would just hack into the databases and find them. They would pay for this!

*L-2 My ass! * She thought as she stomped home. As she walked back home she thought about Duo. Did he know? What would he say? Would he even care? She sighed and stuck her hands in her pockets and sighed. This had gotten way outta control. She had to talk to him.

Hilde slipped into the house. It was totally silent. She looked into the living room, but saw nothing. She frowned and Went to the shop. It was dark and quiet, too.

She sighed. He must have went out. She'd talk to him later. She went back to the house and passed the kitchen table. She glanced at and saw all the packages. She shrugged, Duo must have bought something.

She went to her room and got some clean clothes and went to the bath room.

Duo woke up from his nap on the couch, with a jerk. He heard the shower running. Hilde must be home now. He glanced at his watch and sat up. It was 7o'clock. Duo stood and stretched. Now was as good as time as any. He walked into the computer room and pulled the calendar from the drawer of the desk. He gulped and closed his eyes. He gripped the calendar and walked to the bathroom.

Hilde stood in front of the water, letting it pelt her. It felt so good as it ran off her body. She smiled as it slowly started to relax her. She stiffened up, though ,when she heard the door latch click and the door creaked open. "Duo?" She called, softly.

"Yeah, babe, it's me."

She wondered what was up. He never came in the bathroom while she was in there. She turned around and saw his shadow on the shower curtain. He was holding something.

"Um.. I'm sorry to bother you, but, What can you tell me about this?"
He lifted the calendar over the top of the shower curtain and let it drop open to one of her pictures.

"Oh damn, he knows," She muttered.

"Hilde?" came his voice again, soft and meek.

"It was a big mistake, Duo. I guess I should have told you before. I'm sure it came as a shock to see me in one of these girlie calendars."

"Uh....yeah. "
"Duo, Hand me a towel?"

Duo reached for a towel and glanced at the shower curtain. He saw her silhouette on the curtain. He felt himself instantly get hard. He grabbed a towel and held it before him, right in front of the curtain. Her dripping fingers reached out for the towel. Duo slapped the calendar in front of his crotch. He didn't want her to see him in this state of arousal. He pushed the towel for the fingers.. he reached out and grabbed her hand. She let out a small shriek.

He pulled the already wet digets to his mouth and licked them.

"Duo!" Hilde cried. "Stop it!"
He sighed and let go of her fingers, and shoved the towel in her hand.
"Hand me that bath robe, Duo. We need to talk but not in the bathroom."

She stepped out and Duo Crushed the calendar closer to his crotch. Her hair was still wet. She had scrubbed her skin until it was pink. Water dripped down from her hair into the top of her robe. Duo let out a ragged sigh.

She grinned at him as she looked where the calendar was. "Duo! What's the matter?"
When he didn't say anything, she motioned him to follow her. She lead him to her bedroom. She lead him to the bed and made him sit. She looked at him. He still had the calendar over his crotch. He was watching her every move with half closed eyes. She frowned. Something was wrong with him. She opened the drawer with the envelope in it. She pulled out the envelope and walked over to sit by him.

Duo was having a hard time controlling him self. He wanted so bad to take her into his arms and kiss her silly.

"Here!" she said as she shoved the envelope under his nose. He frowned at her and took it. He slid a little bit farther back so he could have better excess. He opened it and pulled out the contents. They were glamour shots of Hilde. He gasped as he looked at them.

Hilde let out a loud sigh and sat next to him.
"You don't like them , Duo?"
He looked up at her. "NO...Yes I like them!" He looked at them, again. "WOW!~ Hilde! These are beautiful! Just like you."
Hilde's face started to change from normal to bright red.

"Well, anyway to make a long story short I was caught up in a scam. Those two bastards told me it was for charity and it would only be on L-2. I wonder if it was charity to make them rich! They lied. How many more of copies of this calendar are going to turn up?" She asked ,sorrowfully .

"Well, not too many will turn up here."
She eyed him ."What did you do?"

"I... Um... brought them all, well all I could."
She cocked an eyebrow at him. "What do you mean? You bought them all?"

" I bought them all. Most of them.."

She opened her mouth in shock." Why did you do that , Duo? Well, that was really sweet or you didn't want anyone to see how ugly your partner is. Are they really that ugly...."She said as she turned away.

He grabbed her shoulders and turned her back to him. "NO! OH, GOD NO, Hilde! These pictures are not at all ugly. God, you are one the most beautiful women I know!"

"How many beautiful women do you know?" She asked as she looked at him

"Well. there's Relena, and Sally for sure. Noin is in that category ,too. You gotta not be so hard on yourself.. Even if the whole world doesn't think you're beautiful, you are to me!"

She looked at him. "Why?" She gulped. "Why do you think I'm beautiful?"

He paused as to gather his thoughts. He took a deep breath and thought, * it's now or never! * " It's ... because....I 'm.... in ... love ...with .. you!" He sighed, "There I said it!"

She looked up at him, her eyes wide. "What? ....What did you say, Duo?"
"I'm in love with you."
She looked at him, then threw her arms around his neck. "You love me!? You love me? " she repeated." I'm in love with you, too!"
He slid his arms around her waist and kissed her soundly on the lips. As he kissed her, the shoulder of her robe slipped revealing her neck and part of her shoulder. Duo's mouth left her lips and eased his way to her neck, kissing his way down to her collar bone. Hilde tilted her head back and allowed him more access to her skin.

He pushed her robe open, revealing the tops of her breasts.

He leaned up and whispered in her ear, "Do you want me to continue?"

She whispered back. "Yes."
He reached down and grabbed the sash of her robe and pulled it.. It spilled open, exposing her to him. He slid his hands under the robe and up her sides. He looked up at her . He started to drift to sleep as he hard Hilde's soft breathing. He was happy, he had his goddess. He set his thoughts on tomorrow and how he was going to make those two pay for ....what? Giving Hilde to him ? Naw, for lying to her and making her think she was going a good thing!

Hilde sighed and closed her eyes, listening to steady rhythm of Duo's heartbeat. She now belong to the God of Death. It had been her goal for so long. She sighed, content. All else was forgot as she drifted to sleep.
