Author’s notes:

Well, I KNOW I haven’t finished A Sword that Protects  -and I promise I will keep updating that story! But as some may have noticed – it’s getting harder and harder for me to write it (ah the drama). I still really like the story though.

So here’s the deal. This fiction I am posting now is kind of a therapeutic thing for me. And I thought I’d share it with you since I’m writing it anyway.

To be honest, this story is going to be a bit SMUTTY and way DARKER than my other RK story. So beware. However, I am by nature a prude so this smuttiness is going to embarrass me! But please bear with me.

Also, it’s an AU (alternate universe). For me, this will help me to write my characters in the other story (all that comparative crap helps me). I realize that they are going to seem out of character – but please be understanding. It’s my first AU ever! It’s also set in modern times but Kenshin still used a katana – you’ll see why. If you’re familiar with KamiKaze manga, you’ll get the picture. Also, things may be a supernatural. Plus, this is an ALTERNATE universe so expect things to be different.

So, in a nutshell:

1 – SMUTTY story!

2 – DARK story!

3 – AU set in somewhat modern times

4 – Kenshin is still Mr. Battousai. Kaoru is his target. Mayhem and smuttiness ensues.

5 – Possibility of faint traces of magic / supernatural happenings

6 – It might not always make sense!

7 – Linay is very embarrassed by her attempts at smuttiness and dark/angsty stories. So SORRY IN ADVANCE!
